Kay Braverman arrived in Iowa City in 1967 as a graduate student in music, intending to be here for only two years. She found Iowa City much too exciting to leave and has been in real estate since 1980. Kay finds real estate an exciting and interesting profession. She truly enjoys the wide variety of people she meets and appreciates the opportunity to build successful transactions that leave both buyers and sellers feeling good. And while Kay is delighted to help her repeat customers she also especially enjoys helping first time homebuyers find the home of their dreams.

Kay is the mother of two: Natasha and Eric. Eric, and his wife, Staci are chefs and live in Toronto, Canada. Natasha is Kay's licensed assistant: read more about Natasha here. Kay also has four stepchildren, six step grandchildren and is the proud grandmother of her very own first grandchild.
